Halloween at the trunk or treat:). Aspen, her friend, and Bryant had a fun time. Ethan & Spenser apparently did too, but I could only assume at the time, since they took off with their friends as soon as we walked in the door. Aspen wanted to be matching Medusa's with me (so sweet) and Bryant wanted to be a fire-fighter (third year in a row--yay!).

Ethan and the musketeers for Halloween! I think they had a lot of fun. We moms sewed the costumes and they turned out great if I do say so myself---although, don't look too closely at mine...:)

Ethan at his 5th & 6th grade track meet. Four elementary schools all competed against each other (amidst tons of screaming and cheering:). Lots of fun and Ethan did very well!

Aspen seems to be a bottomless pit, and she was especially hungry this day. Each plate or bowl represents what usually would be a full serving of lunch for her. Six meals & one banana later: finally full:)!

The cups from my primary lesson on the restoration were a big hit at home. It looks inevitable, but amazingly Bryant didn't knock these over:).

Found the Easter Bunny! We did the traditional hunt a little differently this year. While Philip & I took the two little ones on a hunt through the neighborhood--following Yoyo's trusty nose, Ethan and Spenser "tracked" the Easter Bunny from our house, (where they'd heard him upstairs in the fridge getting our eggs) up the street to the park--the only non-muddy place around these days. In the picture they'd just come racing up the trail to meet us and tell us the news. I love how Bryant looks confused:).

Last week, we had a blast camping at Glacier National Park. It was our first successful camping trip with young kids (meaning no one had to drive a crying toddler around all night trying to get them to go to sleep and not wake up neighboring campers. Yea!) The weather was great, the kids got to play in a LOT of water, and we got to see lots of wildlife--besides the ones we brought with us, that is:).

Philip returned from his research trip with a little labrador puppy (not a surprise, we'd planned to get a puppy this spring.) We've named her Yoyo. The kids were really excited, but quickly became nervous after a few snaps of her little sharp teeth. On week three now, we've all warmed up to each other and are adjusting to the change. She is awfully cute:).

Ethan was a card (ha ha:). He and Spenser were really excited about the play. Several of their friends were in it as well. It was a busy week (practices until 8pm and all day Saturday.) I'm glad it only lasted a week!

Spenser was a lobster in Alice in Wonderland last Saturday. (He flatly refused to audition, until he saw his friend Max there and heard the ultra-enthusiastic and really funny director.) He had a lot of fun, although when I offered to print this photo off so he could take it to school for show-and-tell, he said "NO WAY!"

This is our second year to take the kids to a waterpark resort. Last year it was a surprise on the last day of school with some good friends. This year it was during spring break with several families from our ward. Lots of fun:)!

Happy Easter! Easter morning saw the kids happy and sugar-loaded and Philip and I recovering from the stomach flu. Good times. Spenser does look like he's hatching some evil plot, here. You never know with that little guy:).
